Meet the Wisdomkeepers

Some projects are made. This one was entrusted.

Meet the Wisdomkeepers is a concept I designed to carry the world of the Maasai Wisdomkeepers of Mukuru Sacred Site beyond Tanzania: an exhibition, printed fine art, a film, and a coffee table book. Years of relationship, ceremony and witnessing, distilled into work you can stand in front of, hold in your hands, and be changed by.

It exists so that a wisdom tradition that lives in a remote valley can speak to the world, on its own terms and with its blessing.

I also bring this work into the room myself: as a speaker, for events, organizations and cultural stages that want the story behind the images.
